Codrin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gelu Papadache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Petruț Spârlea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doru Răuțu having to make a save. Horea Malcoci took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doru Răuțu. Doru Răuțu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Doru Răuțu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petruț Spârlea's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Doru Răuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Spârlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Augustin Frunză could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ionuț Spelbu made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Petruț Spârlea made the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Șişman couldn't finish the play. If Petruț Spârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Răuțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Spârlea in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Catelesti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Spârlea came free, but Doru Răuțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Petruț Spârlea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Răuțu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 83rd minute, Vlad Amărculesei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Spârleas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Doru Răuțu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. During the 91st minute of the match Iustin Fenici completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iustin Fenici a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Iustin Fenici kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Petruț Spârlea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Doru Răuțu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codrin FC. Augustin Frunză sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Codrin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Codrin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
