A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Denis Cantemir with Lucrețiu Patrichi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Tudor Greblă came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Codrin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Greblă couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petruț Spârlea in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Jucan saved TheMoneyTeam from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, TheMoneyTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Spârlea came free, but Tiberiu Jucan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Petruț Spârlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petruț Spârlea in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Jucan saved TheMoneyTeam from getting behind. Codrin FC's Andrei Șişman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Avram Brânzaru in the 46 minute of the game. Ionuț Spelbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Urdăreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lucrețiu Patrichi made the kick off in the second half. Cristinel Popan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Codrin FC's Cristinel Popan got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ionuț Spelbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Patrichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Codrin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Șişman to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Horia Movileanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionuț Spelbu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ionuț Spelbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Patrichi in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Codrin FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Șişman. Horia Movileanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Vasile Iordănescu made a precise shot to the right of Ionuț Spelbu. Codrin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 75 played minutes Codrin FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Albu. Horea Malcoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Jucan having to interfere. In the 87th minute Andrei Șişman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Jucan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Vasile Iordănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ionuț Spelbu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
