Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Virgil Agrigoroaiei took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felix Dragomir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Niculae Harbuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Văcărescu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Gligor saved ispi from getting behind. Niculae Harbuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Agrigoroaiei, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. ispi were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Giurgeni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alin Golumbean took the corner. Virgil Agrigoroaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Niculae Harbuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sever Stoian fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ispi's protests and gave Sever Stoian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Ovidiu Dancu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giurgeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, ispi's goalkeeper Vlad Gligor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Dancu. Matei Văcărescu struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vlad Gligor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giurgeni. ispi were furious when Maxim Liviu was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 37th minute, one of ispi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ispi. After 43 played minutes Giurgeni got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Stoicănescu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Văcărescu made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, ispi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Golumbean to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Dancu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vlad Gligor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcu Cazacu during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcu Cazacu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ovidiu Dancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Zglobiu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Văcărescu in the 75th minute of play forced ispi's goalkeeper Vlad Gligor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Văcărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vlad Gligor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Dancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ispi's Vlad Gligor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Dancu in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Văcărescu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Gligor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giurgeni's Ovidiu Dancu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Giurgeni had played much better football throughout.
