Spectators: 7637 (Terracing: 5729, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristinel Alecu started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Mugur Bociort managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCM Bacau's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Bociort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Neagu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantin Gordunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Alecu in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, FCM Bacau's Mugur Bociort nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Neagu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Edgar Vuşcan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Constantin Gordunescu. Edgar Vuşcan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Denis Neagu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Cosariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Real Madrid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Alupoaie to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, FCM Bacau's Codrin Ştefănică shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denis Neagu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCM Bacau reached it. Cristinel Alecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Gordunescu having to interfere. Constantin Gordunescu was a little too slow when Cristinel Alecu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. Edgar Vuşcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristinel Alecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Alecu came free, but Constantin Gordunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Alecu got free with Constantin Gordunescu in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Mugur Bociort made the kick off in the second half. Constantin Gordunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Vuşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Cristinel Alecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Alecu might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Gordunescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristinel Alecu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Alecu in the 75th minute of play forced FCM Bacau's goalkeeper Constantin Gordunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FCM Bacau booed when Real Madrid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deep Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Codrin Ştefănică sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Neagu skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Cristinel Alecu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantin Gordunescu. FCM Bacau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristinel Alecu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's Cristinel Alecu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Gordunescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid FC's zone, Mugur Bociort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Neagu came out of the goal and Mugur Bociort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th match minute, Real Madrid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Mavrogheni to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Edgar Vuşcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristinel Alecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Alecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Real Madrid FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
