Spectators: 7646 (Terracing: 5736, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mugur Bociort got the match started through his kick off. Constantin Gordunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Măliță in the 6th minute of the match. Constantin Gordunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Măliță in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, FCM Bacau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Alexandrescu to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Gordunescu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo's Gavril Măliță. But to his dismay, Gavril Măliță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Avram Bârlea struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Constantin Gordunescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo. 30 minutes into the match, FCM Bacau's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Bârlea came free, but Constantin Gordunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dinamo's Avram Bârlea in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FCM Bacau's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Avram Bârlea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantin Gordunescu was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Constantin Gordunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Chiriac in the 40th minute of play. FCM Bacau's Constantin Gordunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Măliță in the 43rd minute of play. Constantin Gordunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Măliță in the 45th minute of the match. The referee gave Dinamo a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aron Caranfil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FCM Bacau's Constantin Gordunescu. 0-2. After the first half Dinamo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gavril Măliță made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes FCM Bacau got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Alexandrescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Bârlea got free with Constantin Gordunescu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FCM Bacau's Constantin Gordunescu got control of the ball when Avram Bârlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcu Harhoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Bociort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led FCM Bacau's Codrin Ştefănică to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcu Harhoiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gavril Măliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gavril Măliță came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Dinamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Măliță couldn't finish the play. Gavril Măliță might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Gordunescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavril Măliță ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugur Bociort in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcu Harhoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Dinamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Chiriac to maneuver through the defense. Virgil Alexandrescu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Avram Bârlea sped through FCM Bacau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantin Gordunescu. In the 98th minute, Valeriu Ciurea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
