Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferdinand Martinaș made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Martinaș in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Gligor saved ispi from getting behind. The corner ended in Radu Sbârcea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ispi's Vlad Gligor did a great save. Victor Mihăilescu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Virgil Agrigoroaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Martinaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vlad Gligor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Victor Ghercioiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vlad Gligor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 minutes, Marcu Cazacu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ispi and the Steaua United players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Radu Sbârcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Gigel Zglobiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ispi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua United the free kick. The supporters of Steaua United booed when ispi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Zglobiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Gligor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Martinaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. ispi's Felix Dragomir got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ispi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Steaua United were winning 0-2.

George Brezoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vlad Gligor came out and tried to block the shot, but George Brezoi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 51st minute. Ion Gherghescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Agrigoroaiei in the 56th minute of play. During the 58th minute of the match Marcu Cazacu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcu Cazacu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Steaua United booed when ispi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Cazacu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Ghercioiu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 60th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in ispi's zone, Victor Ghercioiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Gligor came out of the goal and Victor Ghercioiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Martinaș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. If Ferdinand Martinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ispi getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Felix Dragomir hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Victor Ghercioiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steaua United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Ghercioiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Ghercioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vlad Gligor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Dragomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Gherghescu having to interfere. Gică Amuguroancei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Felix Dragomir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ispi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steaua United's performance. The match ended with a win for Steaua United.
