Victor Vuşcan scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Budac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viorel Gănescu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Codrin Stroescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joseri. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Victor Vuşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dagata's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Vuşcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Budac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Budac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Balint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Victor Vuşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dagata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Vuşcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes, Leontin Unchiaşu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dagata and the Joseri players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute Răzvan Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Stroescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Cioacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gheorghe Budac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joseri's zone, Ion Cioacă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gheorghe Budac came out of the goal and Ion Cioacă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ion Cioacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Victor Vuşcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Budac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dagata were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Răzvan Nicolae made the kick off in the second half. Iacob Negoescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Budac having to interfere. With a little luck, Joseri's Gheorghe Budac got control of the ball when Ciprian Balint tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Ghercioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Victor Vuşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagata's Victor Vuşcan got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Joseri's Gheorghe Budac got control of the ball when Iacob Negoescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ion Cioacă fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Victor Vuşcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codrin Stroescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Nicolae in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ion Cioacă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Constantin Grămescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dagata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joseri the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dagata's Constantin Grămescu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Marius Coșereanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Codrin Stroescu skillfully saved the ball. Leontin Unchiaşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Dagata could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Joseri throughout the match.
