Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Ion Cioacă made the kick off and thus started the match. Florin Borogeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Cioacă in the 3rd minute of the match. Constantin Grămescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florin Borogeanu. FC Dinamo 1948's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th minute, Iosif Frântu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagata's Ion Cioacă got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Victor Vuşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dagata's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Vuşcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Borogeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes FC Dinamo 1948 got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Oprișor. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dinamo 1948's zone, Ion Cioacă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Borogeanu came out of the goal and Ion Cioacă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Vuşcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Florin Borogeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Ion Cioacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Borogeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagata's Codrin Stroescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Dagata from getting a goal against them. FC Dinamo 1948's Florin Borogeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Vuşcan in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, FC Dinamo 1948 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Frântu to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo 1948's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Vuşcan came free, but Florin Borogeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Surugiu to make the kick off. Ionel Petruț's late challenge caught a FC Dinamo 1948's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionel Petruț helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dagata! Leontin Oprișor shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Oprișor during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dagata booed when FC Dinamo 1948 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Oprișor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Borogeanu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Victor Vuşcan sent off a good shot on target. Florin Borogeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Cioacă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Siclovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leontin Oprișor, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vintilă Siclovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Stroescu having to interfere. FC Dinamo 1948's Florin Borogeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Cioacă in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Siclovan in the 78th minute of play forced Dagata's goalkeeper Codrin Stroescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Ion Cioacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Borogeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ion Cioacă fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florin Borogeanu, passed just outside the right post. Leontin Unchiaşu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Vintilă Siclovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dagata's Iacob Negoescu got a free kick in the 85th minute. Codrin Stroescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Siclovan in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Dagata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Negoescu to maneuver through the defense. Ion Cioacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Florin Borogeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Dinamo 1948's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
