Florin Borogeanu came out of the goal and Iordache Codrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes FC Dinamo 1948 got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Vulcan. 26 minutes into the match, Petre Zegreanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Dinamo 1948's Florin Borogeanu. Florin Borogeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denis Surugiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dragoş Hâncu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Surugiu ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Oniga's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Surugiu came free, but Dragoş Hâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vintilă Siclovan got free with Dragoş Hâncu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vintilă Siclovan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragoş Hâncu having to make a save. Denis Surugiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dragoş Hâncu came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Surugiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, FC Dinamo 1948's Vintilă Siclovan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dragoş Hâncu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marian Simionescu's late challenge caught a FC Dinamo 1948's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Simionescu helped the player get up and apologised. Marian Simionescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

After a rather tough play, Oniga's Denis Trandafir got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Teodor Vulcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Surugiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
