Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manole Siniştean kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Surugiu in the 4th minute of play forced F.C. CEAHLAUL's goalkeeper Alex Papaiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leontin Oprișor, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 7th minute, Rareș Radovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Denis Surugiu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. CEAHLAUL's Alex Papaiani. Alex Papaiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Papaiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Siclovan in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, F.C. CEAHLAUL's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Surugiu came free, but Alex Papaiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Vintilă Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Siclovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for FC Dinamo 1948. Leontin Oprișor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alex Papaiani. 0-2. Florin Borogeanu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Narcis Oravițan sent off a good shot on target. Denis Surugiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Papaiani having to make a save. Alex Papaiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Siclovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Rareș Radovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The F.C. CEAHLAUL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Dinamo 1948 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Surugiu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rareș Radovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Borogeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristinel Şania fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. CEAHLAUL's protests and gave Cristinel Şania a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Dinamo 1948 booed when F.C. CEAHLAUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Şania didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Denis Surugiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dinamo 1948's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Surugiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iosif Frântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Papaiani having to interfere. Manole Siniştean took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florin Borogeanu. Florin Borogeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to F.C. CEAHLAUL getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rareș Radovan hit a great ball. If Narcis Oravițan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mihăiţă Sterescu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Dinamo 1948 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Sterescu couldn't finish the play. Denis Surugiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alex Papaiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. CEAHLAUL's Alex Papaiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Vulcan in the 87th minute of play. Alex Papaiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Surugiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Narcis Oravițan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Florin Borogeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Surugiu succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3.
