Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Zgîrţa started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Petru Donici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes, DrumLung's Martin Pârvuță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horaţiu Nacu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DrumLung reached it. Mugurel Măcrineanu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ionel Cârneci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghencea. Adrian Ciolacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nacu having to interfere. Horaţiu Nacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Brănet in the 18th minute of the match. Mugurel Măcrineanu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ionel Cârneci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghencea. Ghencea's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Cristian Zgîrţa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. A collision led to DrumLung getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Horea Şoimaru hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Tiberiu Teodoreanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionel Cârneci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horea Şoimaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Nacu. Ghencea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paul Bolcaș kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Laurențiu Brănet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DrumLung booed when Ghencea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Bolcaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, DrumLung's goalkeeper Ionel Cârneci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugurel Măcrineanu. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Ciolacu made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Brănet got free with Horaţiu Nacu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 played minutes DrumLung got a freekick which was hit by Martin Pârvuță. Ionel Cârneci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Zgîrţa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Mugurel Măcrineanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ciolacu in the 68th minute of play forced Ghencea's goalkeeper Horaţiu Nacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Bolcaș during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Ghencea got a freekick which was hit by Paul Bolcaș. Mugurel Măcrineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ionel Cârneci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Ghencea's Mugurel Măcrineanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Cârneci was left in no man's land by his defense there! DrumLung's Adrian Ciolacu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horaţiu Nacu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Brănet went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Ghencea's Cristian Zgîrţa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionel Cârneci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Ghencea's Cristian Zgîrţa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Cârneci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 90th minute, Adrian Ciolacu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horaţiu Nacu. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 98th minute, Mugurel Măcrineanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The DrumLung players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ghencea from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
