Spectators: 7388 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mihnea Ciobanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iosif Drăgoescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Baldazar in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Mihnea Ciobanu made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Drăgoescu. Colnago Mexico 72's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sebastian Baldazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Drăgoescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Sebastian Baldazar fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jigoreasa's protests and gave Sebastian Baldazar a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Baldazar kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Colnago Mexico 72's Mircea Zberea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Luțu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 17 played minutes Jigoreasa got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Ciobanu. After 18 played minutes Colnago Mexico 72 got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Zberea. 20 minutes into the match, Damian Urducea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Drăgoescu. Colnago Mexico 72's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Urducea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Colnago Mexico 72's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Urducea came free, but Iosif Drăgoescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Hjeltman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emanuel Luțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Jigoreasa's Sebastian Baldazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Drăgoescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Colnago Mexico 72's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Onitiu came free, but Iosif Drăgoescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mircea Zberea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colnago Mexico 72's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Zberea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Luțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Jigoreasa were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mircea Zberea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Colnago Mexico 72's Iosif Drăgoescu got control of the ball when Sebastian Baldazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mihnea Ciobanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Iosif Drăgoescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Drăgoescu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Jigoreasa's Damian Urducea. But to his dismay, Damian Urducea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Iosif Drăgoescu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Sebastian Baldazar sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Baldazar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Iosif Drăgoescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iosif Drăgoescu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Damian Urducea sent off a good shot on target. Mihnea Ciobanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Iosif Drăgoescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihnea Ciobanu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Iosif Drăgoescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jigoreasa. In the 74th minute, Dinu Panaiteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Baldazar got free with Iosif Drăgoescu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Mihnea Ciobanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iosif Drăgoescu. Mihnea Ciobanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Sebastian Baldazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mircea Zberea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Emanuel Luțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Colnago Mexico 72 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jigoreasa's performance. The match ended with a win for Jigoreasa.
