Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaanus Rink got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Sever Răuțchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potingani FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Răuțchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Micu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristi Barboni kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Costin Apostolescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rareș Dumitru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mircea Orășan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 19 played minutes Potingani FCM got a freekick which was hit by Costin Apostolescu. In the 20th minute Jaanus Rink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Dumitru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Victoria Floresti 1939 got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Bologa. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jaanus Rink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victoria Floresti 1939's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaanus Rink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Dumitru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Mihnea Popete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Dabija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Potingani FCM booed when Victoria Floresti 1939 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Orășan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mircea Orășan scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rareș Dumitru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jaanus Rink came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Victoria Floresti 1939 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaanus Rink couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Apostolescu to make the kick off. Irinel Racoviță hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Eusebiu Micu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Apostolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Victoria Floresti 1939's Jaanus Rink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Dumitru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Jaanus Rink got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Mircea Orășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Orășan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Rareș Dumitru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Costin Apostolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Micu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Victoria Floresti 1939's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Apostolescu came free, but Eusebiu Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Victoria Floresti 1939 got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Bologa. Mihnea Popete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mircea Orășan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Rareș Dumitru made a huge save.
