After a rather tough play, Corcodel CSM's Cristian Coșmeanu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corcodel CSM's goalkeeper Alexandru Tarcea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Burcas short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Alexandru Tarcea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexandru Tarcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Burca in the 39th minute. FC Pegas București's Horea Diculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cazimir Drăghincescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristian Burca made the kick off in the second half. Alexandru Tarcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Burca in the 51st minute of the match. Sandu Ghionea might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Tâbârnă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Ghionea ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, FC Pegas București's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Ghionea came free, but Nicu Tâbârnă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vali Plopșor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandru Tarcea. Corcodel CSM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Iordache Costescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Plopșor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandru Tarcea. Corcodel CSM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Iordache Costescu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corcodel CSM's protests and gave Iordache Costescu a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Burca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandru Tarcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Burca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Răţescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Tarcea having to interfere. If Cazimir Drăghincescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandru Tarcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Burca in the 84th minute of the match. Cristian Burca struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Alexandru Tarcea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pegas București. When the referee ended the match the FC Pegas București players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
