In the 15th minute of the match Ferdinand Răţescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Apostolescu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Drăghincescu in the 18th minute of play forced Hasameli's goalkeeper Nichifor Apostolescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match FC Pegas București got a corner. Hasameli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferdinand Răţescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Burca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Eusebiu Tache in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Pegas București's Fabian Gheară. Cristian Burca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nichifor Apostolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, FC Pegas București's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Ceaușescu came free, but Nicu Tâbârnă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cazimir Drăghincescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nichifor Apostolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Tâbârnă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Tănăsie in the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Cazimir Drăghincescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pegas București's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Drăghincescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Burca hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cazimir Drăghincescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Apostolescu having to interfere. Hasameli's Nichifor Apostolescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Burca in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Burca in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Apostolescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Ferdinand Răţescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcu Tănăsie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Nicu Tâbârnă made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Iurie Magherescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Burca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Apostolescu having to interfere. The FC Pegas București manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Hasameli to win.
