Iordache Costescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. 陈枫适 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandu Ghionea in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 陈枫适 saved Leicester City from getting behind. Corcodel CSM's Alexandru Tarcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Lupșoiu in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Costică Lupșoiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandru Tarcea, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cosmin Măguran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosmin Măguran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Tarcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosmin Măguran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice moves Nicodim Rădoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Alexandru Tarcea however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Corcodel CSM getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Calistrat Bociort hit a great ball. Cosmin Măguran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alexandru Tarcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Lupșoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cosmin Măguran came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Leicester City fans jumped to their feet.
