The attack was good, but when Aurelian Niculescu in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 21 minutes into the match, Licuriciul's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Lupșoiu came free, but Emilian Negrilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Petrică Nebunu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leicester City's 陈枫适 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 陈枫适 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costică Lupșoiu to make the kick off. Petrică Nebunu scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 陈枫适, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Licuriciul's Iacob Oravițan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicodim Rădoi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The Leicester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 陈枫适 should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Licuriciul had won after a very even match.
