Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Virgil Codrescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gauriciu FC's Laurențiu Stoican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Dridu in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Mârzac in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Stoican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurențiu Stoican came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Caramidaru's Cezar Dridu. But to his dismay, Cezar Dridu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Gauriciu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Dridu came free, but Laurențiu Stoican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Stoican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Mârzac in the 13th minute of play. Laurențiu Stoican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Costică Avarvarei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Stoican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Stoican came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Caramidaru's Costel Lupșe. But to his dismay, Costel Lupșe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Avarvarei in the 31st minute of play forced Gauriciu FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Stoican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurențiu Stoican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Gauriciu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Mârzac came free, but Laurențiu Stoican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Lupșe's late challenge caught a Gauriciu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Lupșe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Costel Lupșe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gauriciu FC's Virgil Codrescu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Laurențiu Stoican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Lupșe in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octav Mârzac made a kick off. Laurențiu Stoican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Avarvarei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Stoican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Lupșe, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on Gauriciu FC's corner Dragoş Zgondea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucian Bobei quite easily take care of the ball. Virgil Codrescu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Bobei. Lucian Bobei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the match was over Caramidaru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gauriciu FC throughout the match.
