Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octav Mârzac started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Caramidaru defense, Isac Cosoroabă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucian Bobei. The Caramidaru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucian Bobei should have stopped the shot. After having played for 13 minutes, Ernest Jumancă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herculian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Jumancă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Costel Lupșe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caramidaru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herculian the free kick. In the 14th minute, Costel Lupșe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caramidaru's zone, Isac Cosoroabă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Bobei came out of the goal and Isac Cosoroabă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Avarvarei during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Caramidaru got a freekick which was hit by Costică Avarvarei. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ernest Jumancă sped through Caramidaru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucian Bobei. Octav Mârzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Petre Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Nenițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Mârzac, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Petre Nenițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Cezar Dridu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cezar Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Herculian's zone, Cezar Dridu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Nenițescu came out of the goal and Cezar Dridu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caramidaru were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Herculian's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gigel Robu took the corner. The corner led Caramidaru's Gigel Robu to fire away a dangerous shot which Petre Nenițescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Jumancă to strike the kick off in the second half. Costică Avarvarei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Avarvarei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Nenițescu having to interfere. Petre Nenițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Mârzac, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ernest Jumancă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lucian Bobei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Herculian's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Mârzac came free, but Petre Nenițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Herculian's Isac Cosoroabă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Bobei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cezar Dridu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Petre Nenițescu made a huge save. Octav Mârzac struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Petre Nenițescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caramidaru. After 81 played minutes Caramidaru got a freekick which was hit by Costică Avarvarei. Cezar Dridu in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petre Nenițescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cezar Dridu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Petre Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Caramidaru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Caramidaru may have spent more time on the ball, but Herculian were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
