The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Marin Jianu made a precise shot to the right of Eusebiu Nenițescu. Tantarul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Caldarasti FC's Octav Costache in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Octav Costache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Nenițescu having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Octav Costache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tantarul's Eusebiu Nenițescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Toader Diaconescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Eusebiu Nenițescu however easily saved by the left post. Eusebiu Nenițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toader Diaconescu in the 44th minute. Toader Diaconescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Costache in the 52nd minute of play forced Tantarul's goalkeeper Eusebiu Nenițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caldarasti FC's zone, Eliodor Chioreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Angelescu came out of the goal and Eliodor Chioreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Gheorghe Ciurea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petru Hațegan during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petru Hațegan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Octav Costache elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Tantarul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Tufescu to maneuver through the defense. Eusebiu Nenițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Diaconescu in the 69th minute of play. If Toader Diaconescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Angelescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Chioreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute Octav Costache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Nenițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Tantarul's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Jianu came free, but Eusebiu Nenițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caldarasti FC's Toader Diaconescu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Toader Diaconescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebiu Nenițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Diaconescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Costache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eusebiu Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Caldarasti FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
