After a defensive mix-up in Ac Milan's zone, Ştefan Avramescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Gorcea came out of the goal and Ştefan Avramescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tudor Trif fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Homoraciul's protests and gave Tudor Trif a yellow card for diving instead. Tudor Trif kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Ştefan Avramescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Boieraș came free, but Aurelian Gorcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
