Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eliodor Chioreanu got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Cazimir Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Nenițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tantarul's goalkeeper Eusebiu Nenițescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Elenescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Stoicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Eminescu getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Martin Frățilă hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Nicorici got free with Eusebiu Nenițescu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurel Nicorici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Cazimir Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Nenițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Nicorici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eusebiu Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cazimir Huștiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Huștiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebiu Nenițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tantarul's Dinu Tufescu got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Cazimir Huștiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tantarul's Eusebiu Nenițescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cazimir Huștiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Frățilă kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Eminescu's goalkeeper Ferdinand Elenescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Stoicea. After 57 played minutes Eminescu got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Huștiu. Emil Asachi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Eliodor Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Elenescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Nenițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Nicorici's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Eminescu's Ferdinand Elenescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Eminescu from getting a goal against them. Aurel Nicorici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Iordache Stoicea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tantarul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Stoicea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliodor Chioreanu took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Elenescu. Ferdinand Elenescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eliodor Chioreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86th play minutes Aurel Nicorici shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Eusebiu Nenițescu and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Cazimir Huștiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebiu Nenițescu was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Iordache Stoicea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tantarul's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Stoicea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Elenescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
