TRICOLORUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Trăiloiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Pătrașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Dragușin having to interfere. After 34 played minutes TRICOLORUL got a freekick which was hit by Dan Calomfirescu. TRICOLORUL's Cristian Dragușin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Vâlcu in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Mugurel Păsărin managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRICOLORUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Păsărin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Pânzaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Emilian Mocanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Dragușin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Iacob Pătrașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Dragușin having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviu Trăiloiu was the one to do the kick off. Albert Pânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Păsărin in the 54th minute of the match. When Ernest Moga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. A collision led to APF ONESTI getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ernest Moga hit a great ball. Mugurel Păsărin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Iacob Pătrașcu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Cristian Dragușin to make any attempt to save it. If Silviu Trăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, APF ONESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Păsărin came free, but Albert Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Mocanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iacob Pătrașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cristian Dragușin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TRICOLORUL's Cristian Dragușin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Vâlcu in the 84th minute of play. Silviu Trăiloiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Iacob Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Calomfirescu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
