If Tudor Coraș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Brășneanu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolae Zgîrţa saved BVB Flaming from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Anton Brășneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BVB Flaming's Nicolae Zgîrţa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Barboni in the 27th minute of play. Anton Brășneanu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nicolae Zgîrţa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for L.P.S Buzau. 31 minutes into the match, BVB Flaming's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Văcărescu came free, but Nicolae Zgîrţa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes, Grigore Buculeasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB Flaming and the L.P.S Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, BVB Flaming was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Coraș to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Coraș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Filip Macavei made a huge save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind L.P.S Buzau's goalkeeper Filip Macavei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, L.P.S Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Văcărescu to maneuver through the defense. Filip Macavei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Corbu in the 46th minute of the match. Tudor Coraș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Macavei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Barboni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Macavei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Corbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Petru Păsărin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L.P.S Buzau and the BVB Flaming players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BVB Flaming booed when L.P.S Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Păsărin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Macavei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebiu Corbu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nistor Vaida during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nistor Vaida kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Tudor Coraș might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Macavei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Coraș ran back to his position shaking his head. Cornel Văcărescu was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cornel Văcărescu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Eusebiu Corbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Coraș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Macavei having to interfere. Tudor Coraș struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Filip Macavei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB Flaming.
