Ernest Moga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Barboni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Pânzaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Horaţiu Barboni came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the L.P.S Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Barboni couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, APF ONESTI's Olimpiu Calciu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Barboni in the 24th minute of play forced APF ONESTI's goalkeeper Albert Pânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Eliodor Vâlcu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the APF ONESTI fans jumped to their feet. Filip Macavei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Pătrașcu in the 40th minute of the match. Anton Brășneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to APF ONESTI getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ernest Moga hit a great ball. L.P.S Buzau were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after APF ONESTI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihail Vancea took the corner. After taking down the ball on L.P.S Buzau's corner Mihail Vancea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albert Pânzaru quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
