Dacian Ţirpescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Jivulescu having to interfere. If Constantin Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Jivulescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Urtica booed when FC Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Ghețea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Ţirpescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Răzvan Jivulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
