Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fantani's Grigore Stănciulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Răzvan Jivulescu had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Grigore Stănciulescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Iustinian Ghețea charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Ghețea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iustinian Ghețea hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Grigore Stănciulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Răzvan Jivulescu having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Juniors's Iustinian Ghețea got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gavril Grecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Vasiliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. FC Juniors's Răzvan Jivulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Juniors from getting a goal against them. If Grigore Stănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Grigore Stănciulescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Răzvan Jivulescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, FC Juniors's Leontin Jitaru got a free kick in the 25th minute. Răzvan Jivulescu stood somewhat misplaced when Grigore Stănciulescu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. The supporters of FC Juniors booed when Fantani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Rotariu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Sandu Olariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Grecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Rotariu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Dragoş Alucai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fantani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Juniors the free kick. In the 39th minute of the match Ionel Hurezan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavril Grecu skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Stănciulescu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Jivulescu saved FC Juniors from getting behind. When Cezar Cercelescu fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fantani's protests and gave Cezar Cercelescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Iustinian Ghețea made a precise shot to the right of Gavril Grecu. Fantani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sandu Olariu made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Fantani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Rotariu to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of FC Juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fantani:s goal. The audience was convinced that Grigore Stănciulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Jivulescu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Răzvan Jivulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Stănciulescu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes FC Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Buligan. After recieving a nice pass, Fantani's Eusebiu Rotariu tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Grigore Stănciulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Juniors's Răzvan Jivulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebiu Rotariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Jivulescu having to interfere. Răzvan Jivulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Stănciulescu in the 74th minute of the match. Cristinel Luca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Răzvan Jivulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigore Stănciulescu succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Cristinel Luca struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Răzvan Jivulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fantani. After 86 minutes, Ionel Hurezan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Juniors and the Fantani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ionel Hurezan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Răzvan Dancu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fantani's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Dancu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Jivulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Răzvan Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Stănciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Fantani's Grigore Stănciulescu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 97 minutes of play FC Juniors's Iustinian Ghețea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 98th match minute, FC Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Ghețea to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match Eusebiu Rotariu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Jivulescu skillfully saved the ball. Fantani walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
