After recieving a nice pass, BSC Young Boys's Marin Codreanu tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Gorjanu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BSC Young Boys getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Radu Gorjanu hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Iacob Chiriac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelu Măgură made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Coraș in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of BVB Flaming booed when BSC Young Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Baștină didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebiu Corbu hit a great ball. Nicolae Zgîrţa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iosif Bârsan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Iosif Bârsan took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolae Zgîrţa. Nicolae Zgîrţa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Nicolae Zgîrţa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Bârsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tudor Coraș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gelu Măgură made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Corbu in the 83rd minute of play. Gelu Măgură showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Corbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Daniel Focșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BSC Young Boys's Marin Codreanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BVB Flaming. Nicolae Zgîrţa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Bârsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Focșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BSC Young Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while BVB Flaming had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
