In the 6th minute, Silviu Trăiloiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Tăzlăuanu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Juniors defense, Silviu Trăiloiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Jivulescu. The FC Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Jivulescu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, TRICOLORUL's Sebastian Tilincă got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Constantin Vasiliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Sandu Olariu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRICOLORUL's Cristian Dragușin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Calomfirescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Jivulescu having to interfere. TRICOLORUL's Cristian Dragușin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Olariu in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Onuț during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Onuț hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Constantin Vasiliu could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Cristian Dragușin however easily saved by the left post. After 45 played minutes FC Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Martin Tăzlăuanu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Olariu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Constantin Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRICOLORUL's goalkeeper Cristian Dragușin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Juniors's Răzvan Jivulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Juniors from getting a goal against them. Dan Calomfirescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Răzvan Jivulescu made a huge save. Constantin Vasiliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Răzvan Jivulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Sandu Olariu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Dragușin. Mugurel Păsărin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Răzvan Jivulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRICOLORUL. Mugurel Păsărin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Silviu Trăiloiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Răzvan Jivulescu. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. The FC Juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TRICOLORUL's performance. The match ended with a win for TRICOLORUL.
