In the 45th minute Ciprian Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Răduța saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Gheție stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Gheție fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Bunescu having to interfere. When Vali Răducu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Satelitu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vali Răducu couldn't finish the play. When Satelitu's Ciprian Peter in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brestea's goalie prevented a goal.
