When Albert Găină fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's protests and gave Albert Găină a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Găină hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Niculae Ciucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Bântu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17thth minute of the game Ilie Bântu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RealBarca's Niculae Ciucă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ilie Bântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Flamaropol struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Marian Pacuraru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RealBarca. Ilie Bântu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Ciucă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Vasile Lăzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Niculae Ciucă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ilie Bântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Flamaropol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Niculae Ciucă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hulubei in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rareș Amitroaiei managed to get in a good position for a shot. RealBarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Amitroaiei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Pacuraru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's Marian Pacuraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Flamaropol in the 61st minute of play. RealBarca's Niculae Ciucă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save RealBarca from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind RealBarca's goalkeeper Niculae Ciucă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilie Bântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Ciucă having to interfere. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ilie Bântu from a close distance when the talented Niculae Ciucă managed to make a qualified save. RealBarca's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, RealBarca's Rareș Amitroaiei got a free kick in the 81st minute. The long shot by Iurie Udup in the 82nd minute really tested Niculae Ciucă's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Ilie Bântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Gheban hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rareș Amitroaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Flamaropol came free, but Marian Pacuraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Denis Ştefănuţ fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RealBarca's protests and gave Denis Ştefănuţ a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia booed when RealBarca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Ştefănuţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RealBarca.
