Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Petru Savu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Bicau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Savu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Florin Buciuman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vulturii Lipova's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Buciuman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Lăzan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vulturii Lipova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Măgherușan in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Florin Buciuman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Lăzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vulturii Lipova's Nicu Enachescu got control of the ball when Petru Savu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcu Lăzan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Basarabescu in the 26th minute of the match. Nicu Enachescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Secară, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Florin Buciuman took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcu Lăzan. Marcu Lăzan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Vulturii Lipova booed when Bicau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Druga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Savu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silviu Secară stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicu Enachescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Savu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vulturii Lipova's goalkeeper Nicu Enachescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicu Enachescu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Bicau's Silviu Secară. But to his dismay, Silviu Secară quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florin Buciuman during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florin Buciuman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Lăzan having to interfere. If Florin Buciuman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Savu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Enachescu saved Vulturii Lipova from getting behind. In the 76th minute of the match Bicau got a corner. Vulturii Lipova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Constantin Casian ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Constantin Casian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vulturii Lipova's Nicu Enachescu did a great save. Marcu Lăzan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Buciuman's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Vulturii Lipova's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Secară came free, but Nicu Enachescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Buciuman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marcu Lăzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
