Spectators: 5649 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciprian Peter started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Ciprian Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Lupeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Lupeanu having to interfere. Cristinel Bianu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Vali Răducu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Vali Răducu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Ciprian Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Lupeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spurs-România's Horaţiu Lupeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Peter in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Spurs-România booed when Satelitu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Talianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Răducu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Lupeanu having to interfere. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Satelitu's Gigi Enoiu got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Costel Grindeanu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Satelitu's Alex Bunescu didn't even have to move. Ciprian Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Lupeanu having to interfere. If Vali Răducu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Horaţiu Lupeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Răducu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Ciprian Peter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Lupeanu. Spurs-România's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Peter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ionică Vătăşel made the kick off in the second half. Vali Răducu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Horaţiu Lupeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Satelitu. Spurs-România's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ciprian Peter 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After some careless play in the Spurs-România defense, Vali Răducu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horaţiu Lupeanu. The Spurs-România fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horaţiu Lupeanu should have stopped the shot. Vali Răducu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Horaţiu Lupeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Cristinel Bianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spurs-România and the Satelitu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Spurs-România got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Bianu. 0-5 became the score in the 72nd minute when Ciprian Peter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ciprian Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Ionică Vătăşel made a precise shot to the right of Alex Bunescu. Satelitu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Horaţiu Lupeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Peter in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Spurs-România:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Satelitu's Ionuț Găvan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Horaţiu Lupeanu. Ciprian Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Horaţiu Lupeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Spurs-România's Costel Grindeanu in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Spurs-România's Ionică Vătăşel got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Satelitu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
