Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emil Alexiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Emil Alexiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobarceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Alexiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emanuel Tomescu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC STEAUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Tomescu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dobarceni booed when FC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Stoiculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Nistor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Alexiu in the 21st minute of the match. Augustin Nistor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Isăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Augustin Nistor came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Dobarceni's Remus Isăilă. But to his dismay, Remus Isăilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Augustin Nistor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Remus Isăilă made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC STEAUA's Augustin Nistor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Mihnea Muscă fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Tomescu made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Emanuel Tomescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobarceni's Teodor Șeitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes in the game, Emil Alexiu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Augustin Nistor having to interfere. Emil Alexiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Nistor having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Emil Alexiu lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Augustin Nistor. If Remus Isăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Isăilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Augustin Nistor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Alexiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Bădulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC STEAUA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dobarceni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
