It was beautiful to see f.c. bacau's Ioan Bocșa in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ivan Huștiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radu Balaci having to make a save. Radu Balaci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Bojincă, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, FC Strazile's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Huștiu came free, but Radu Balaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Ivan Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Balaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Claudiu Ţipirig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragoş Andriescu. f.c. bacau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Ţipirig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Claudiu Ţipirig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Strazile's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Ţipirig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoş Andriescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, f.c. bacau failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
