Gavril Mihăescu started the match with the kick off. When Costică Miclea came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Academia de Fotbal MM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Miclea couldn't finish the play. Codruț Elefterescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Corneliu Baldovinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Academia de Fotbal MM getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Moise Gorjanu hit a great ball. Gavril Mihăescu scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Baldovinescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Academia de Fotbal MM's zone, Gavril Mihăescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Baldovinescu came out of the goal and Gavril Mihăescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costică Miclea to make the kick off. Lucian Glodeanu made a great header on Academia de Fotbal MM's corner, it was just that FC VersatileZ's Emilian Babarada managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the game, Pavel Pârvan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Corneliu Baldovinescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilian Babarada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Miclea, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Corneliu Baldovinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Mihăescu in the 63rd minute of play. Gigel Chitila lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Academia de Fotbal MM! Emanuel Amarandei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corneliu Baldovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Mihăescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Corneliu Baldovinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Mihăescu in the 81st minute of the match. Academia de Fotbal MM's Corneliu Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Mihăescu in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Academia de Fotbal MM's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Mihăescu came free, but Corneliu Baldovinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gică Doloman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Gavril Mihăescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Elefterescu in the 95th minute of play forced Academia de Fotbal MM's goalkeeper Corneliu Baldovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC VersatileZ had played much better football throughout.
