After a rather tough play, Gologanu FC's Gheorghe Zbora got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Corobesti booed when Gologanu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Almajan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Gheorghe Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Arseni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Corobesti's Felix Bulă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Moldoveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marcel Moldoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Bourceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Felix Bulă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Zbora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ionică Arseni. Gheorghe Zbora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Ionică Arseni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Zbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ioan Maftei kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Eric Ailincai fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gologanu FC's protests and gave Eric Ailincai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Gologanu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Ailincai to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gologanu FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sebastian Almajan hit a great ball. Corobesti's Gheorghe Burca got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gheorghe Zbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Zbora made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Corobesti's Felix Bulă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Felix Bulă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Moldoveanu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Corobesti's Leonard Bourceanu. But to his dismay, Leonard Bourceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 64th minute, Ali Nejat Kaçan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Moldoveanu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Felix Bulă sent off a good shot on target. Nicu Voican hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Aurel Şunda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcel Moldoveanu, passed just outside the right post. Marcel Moldoveanu made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Leonard Bourceanu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gologanu FC's Sebastian Almajan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marcel Moldoveanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Bourceanu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. After having played for 78 minutes, Aurel Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corobesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Şunda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Moldoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Bulă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gologanu FC's zone, Leonard Bourceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Moldoveanu came out of the goal and Leonard Bourceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurel Şunda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marcel Moldoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aurel Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcel Moldoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ioan Maftei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Jianu's late challenge caught a Corobesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
