Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gheorghe Zbora kicked off to start the match. Gheorghe Zbora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Iulian Ghiondea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Ghiondea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Zbora went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Zbora in the 10th minute of play forced FC Carlsberg's goalkeeper Iulian Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Isaicu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Carlsberg booed when Gologanu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Isaicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valeriu Rotariu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcel Moldoveanu. Gologanu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sorin Stanciu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sebastian Almajan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Iulian Ghiondea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Vermeşan in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Carlsberg's Grigore Lipan got a free kick in the 19th minute. Iulian Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Vermeşan in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Gologanu FC's Gheorghe Zbora made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Ghiondea was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Valeriu Rotariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Dănciulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Zbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Iulian Ghiondea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Vermeşan in the 36th minute of the match. Andrei Dănciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Marcel Moldoveanu made a huge save. FC Carlsberg's Iulian Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Vermeşan in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Carlsberg! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gică Iorga made the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Vermeşan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iulian Ghiondea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cătălin Vermeşan got free with Iulian Ghiondea in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cătălin Vermeşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gică Iorga in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Moldoveanu saved Gologanu FC from getting behind. Teodor Buhăescu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Buhăescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Carlsberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Gologanu FC. Sebastian Almajan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iulian Ghiondea. 0-4. With an all-out effort, Gologanu FC's Iulian Ghiondea threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gheorghe Zbora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eric Ailincai kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Zbora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iulian Ghiondea, 0-5. After 83 played minutes FC Carlsberg got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Rotariu. Gheorghe Zbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Carlsberg getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Laurențiu Panaitescu hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Gheorghe Zbora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gologanu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
