The supporters of FC Porto Colentina booed when Corobesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bulă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurel Şunda might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Necula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurel Şunda ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonard Bourceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Corobesti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Porto Colentina throughout the match.
