Remus Albescu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA-BTF's zone, Aurel Şunda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Muscaș came out of the goal and Aurel Şunda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Dorel Macamete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Arseni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rareș Bratu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ionică Arseni made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Felix Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corobesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Bulă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Muscaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonard Bourceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Muscaș having to interfere. In the 28th minute Ali Nejat Kaçan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Muscaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Şunda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Bulă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionuț Muscaș having to make a save. Leonard Bourceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionuț Muscaș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Ali Nejat Kaçan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionuț Muscaș having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Ali Nejat Kaçan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionuț Muscaș. FC STEAUA-BTF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Nejat Kaçan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Corobesti's Felix Bulă got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Aurel Şunda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corobesti's Felix Bulă got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorel Macamete to make the kick off. Ionuț Muscaș was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Aurel Şunda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurel Şunda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 56th match minute, FC STEAUA-BTF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Macamete to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Mocanu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Felix Bulă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionuț Muscaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 61 minutes into the match, Ali Nejat Kaçan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionuț Muscaș, 0-7. Ionuț Muscaș was a little too slow when Felix Bulă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-8. Ali Nejat Kaçan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ionuț Muscaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Bulă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionuț Muscaș didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Mocanu in the 78th minute of play forced Corobesti's goalkeeper Ionică Arseni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihăiţă Mocanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Arseni having to interfere. Ionuț Muscaș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Bourceanu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. If Ioan Maftei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC STEAUA-BTF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corobesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
