Spectators: 7133 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rareș Trăistaru kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Vintilă Bacanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Augustin Isăceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 7 minutes, Vintilă Bacanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău and the Decindeni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Vintilă Bacanu hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Vintilă Bacanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Isăceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Dragoş Pavel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Apostolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Augustin Isăceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Decindeni's goalkeeper Augustin Isăceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Vintilă Bacanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Isăceanu. Decindeni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vintilă Bacanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Decindeni's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Dudău came free, but Augustin Isăceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Isăceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Dudău, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The corner led to Decindeni's Mădălin Chițac getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău's Leonard Staicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău's zone, Rareș Trăistaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Staicu came out of the goal and Rareș Trăistaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Bacanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Dragoş Pavel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Decindeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău the free kick. After a rather tough play, Decindeni's Dragoş Pavel got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Bacanu in the 40th minute of play forced Decindeni's goalkeeper Augustin Isăceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Dudău might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augustin Isăceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Dudău ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Emil Dudău in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vintilă Bacanu struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Augustin Isăceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Dudău to strike the kick off in the second half. Emil Dudău had several of the Decindeni's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Augustin Isăceanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leonard Staicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pavalescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Decindeni's Augustin Isăceanu got control of the ball when Vintilă Bacanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Emil Dudău, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Augustin Isăceanu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Isac Barbosu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău's Emil Dudău got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Emil Dudău came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Dudău couldn't finish the play. Augustin Isăceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Dudău in the 81st minute of play. Emil Dudău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Isăceanu having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Decindeni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LPS I Balaș Soter Buzău:s goal. 95 minutes in the game, Emil Dudău fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Augustin Isăceanu having to interfere. Iulian Pavalescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Leonard Staicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
