After a defensive mix-up in Babadau's zone, Felix Martinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 7th minute, Traian Lăzan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iosif Murărașu, passed just outside the right post. Vlad Emilianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Abisko Zinne got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Lăcătușu. Vlad Emilianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gheorghe Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Lăzan fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 20th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The supporters of Abisko Zinne booed when Babadau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Vidican didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Babadau's Vlad Emilianu in action when he in the 40th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 45th minute, Alex Vidican got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Felix Martinescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute Vlad Emilianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Petruț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
