After 34 played minutes Hansa Rostok SV. got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Hosu. The supporters of Ulea booed when Hansa Rostok SV. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Dulca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Ulea were awarded a corner. Matei Enescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Costică Costa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 43 minutes into the match. Costică Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doru Bobailă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costică Costa ran back to his position shaking his head.

In the last second Doru Bobailă throw himself and got hold of the ball when Matei Iulian in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 57th minute, Gică Nedelciu made a precise shot to the right of Mircea Apostolescu. Ulea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Petre Zogreanu's late challenge caught a Ulea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Zogreanu helped the player get up and apologised. Petre Zogreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hansa Rostok SV.'s zone, Matei Iulian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Bobailă came out of the goal and Matei Iulian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mircea Apostolescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Mirciu in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Petre Zogreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Hansa Rostok SV.'s Gică Nedelciu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Apostolescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doru Bobailă made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Costică Costa sent off a good shot on target. The Hansa Rostok SV. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
