Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) -GMT- FC Corvinul's Mihnea Hârlab started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Romeo Erbașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Erbașu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ioan Marica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Mihnea Hârlab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Lăzăroiu having to interfere. Eusebiu Lăzăroiu came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by -GMT- FC Corvinul's Mihnea Hârlab. But to his dismay, Mihnea Hârlab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Gigel Vlădoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alacap CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Vlădoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Mihnea Hârlab cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eusebiu Lăzăroiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mihnea Hârlab might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebiu Lăzăroiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihnea Hârlab ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind -GMT- FC Corvinul's goalkeeper Ioan Marica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Dinu Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Marica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Romeo Erbașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Erbașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Alacap CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Vârjean to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Mihnea Hârlab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Erbașu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ioan Marica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Corneliu Mavrogheni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Romeo Erbașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ioan Marica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Erbașu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Marica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind -GMT- FC Corvinul's goalkeeper Ioan Marica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. -GMT- FC Corvinul's Ioan Marica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Erbașu in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Andrei Ferenț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to -GMT- FC Corvinul getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ilie Ştefănică hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Dinu Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Marica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Romeo Erbașu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alacap CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Erbașu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ioan Marica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Alacap CS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gigel Vlădoiu hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Alacap CS's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Hârlab came free, but Eusebiu Lăzăroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sandu Macri fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alacap CS's protests and gave Sandu Macri a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes -GMT- FC Corvinul got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Ştefănică. After recieving a nice pass, Alacap CS's Rareș Daraban tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
