Eusebiu Lăzăroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Onișoru in the 65th minute of play. Romeo Erbașu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Nistor Curuțiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute, one of Alacap CS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alacap CS. The referee gave FC STEAUA ADJ a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silviu Tadici, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alacap CS's Eusebiu Lăzăroiu. 1-4. In the 76th minute, Niculae Vârjean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Iurie Robu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Lăzăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Plopșor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Curuțiu having to interfere. Dinu Plopșor kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nistor Curuțiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Plopșor, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alacap CS played a much better game than FC STEAUA ADJ and deserved their victory. The FC STEAUA ADJ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
