Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 8 minutes, Gigi Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mircea Apostolescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Drăgoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Gigi Drăgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Vederea AC got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Pop. In the 17th minute Matei Iulian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Frumușanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ulea's Matei Enescu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Drăgoi in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Ulea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Enescu to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Iulian made a kick off. Francisc Pop lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Francisc Pop hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Ulea's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Drăgoi came free, but Mircea Apostolescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigi Drăgoi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Apostolescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Drăgoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mircea Apostolescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigi Drăgoi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gigi Drăgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Sântimbrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Vederea AC's Gigi Drăgoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mircea Apostolescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vederea AC had played much better football throughout.
