Costică Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Corvin having to interfere. When Vintilă Panin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Schwarz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Panin couldn't finish the play. Mircea Apostolescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Urdoi's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. If Vintilă Panin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Apostolescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Urdoi in the 91st minute of play. Isac Corvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Udup in the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Schwarz's Valentin Ilarie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mircea Apostolescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Schwarz were the better team. Schwarz's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
