Aron Boacă kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ulea's zone, Francisc Frențiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Apostolescu came out of the goal and Francisc Frențiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tiur SC's zone, Costică Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Gheorghiu came out of the goal and Costică Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiur SC's Francisc Frențiu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Aristide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mircea Apostolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Apostolescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Aristide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Frențiu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mircea Apostolescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiur SC. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adam Aristide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiur SC's Francisc Frențiu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisc Frențiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Pârvuță's late challenge caught a Tiur SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Pârvuță helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narcis Melinescu in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Apostolescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Melinescu in the 44th minute of play. Mircea Apostolescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Aristide in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Mircea Apostolescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Melinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Narcis Melinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mircea Apostolescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Tiur SC got a freekick which was hit by Sever Vidican. A collision led to Tiur SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Damian Antohi hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiur SC's goalkeeper Maxim Gheorghiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristi Budianu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Francisc Frențiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mircea Apostolescu made a huge save. Adam Aristide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mircea Apostolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Aron Boacă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mircea Apostolescu. Aron Boacă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After recieving a nice pass, Ulea's Matei Enescu tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maxim Gheorghiu came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulea's Matei Iulian. But to his dismay, Matei Iulian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ulea succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tiur SC had controlled the match.
