A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute Costică Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Marica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Ulea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Pascu to maneuver through the defense. When %teams%'s Mihnea Hârlab was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 23 minutes into the game. After 42 played minutes Ulea got a freekick which was hit by Costică Costa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihnea Hârlab in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Apostolescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 57th match minute, Ulea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Pârvuță to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ulea's zone, Mihnea Hârlab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Apostolescu came out of the goal and Mihnea Hârlab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mircea Apostolescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Maleș in the 68th minute of the match. Mihnea Hârlab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Apostolescu having to interfere. Mihnea Hârlab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gabriel Maleș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ulea getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vali Pascu hit a great ball. Costică Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ioan Marica having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. -GMT- FC Corvinul had played much better football throughout.
