Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Vasile Costăchescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marian Tutuianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Nicea in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC BilL defense, Vasile Costăchescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Tutuianu. The FC BilL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Tutuianu should have stopped the shot. FC BilL's Nicolae Racoviță got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 15 in the game by Dan Ilarie from a close distance when the talented Filip Pârlog managed to make a qualified save. Gerbovec's players were relieved. Filip Pârlog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Ilarie in the 17th minute. Horaţiu Hodorog might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Pârlog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Hodorog ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Nicolae Racoviță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Sârbu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marian Tutuianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Costăchescu in the 25th minute of the match. Emanuel Sârbu made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vasile Costăchescu. Marian Tutuianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Tănăsocă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Pârlog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Ilarie in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gerbovec's Filip Pârlog got control of the ball when Dan Ilarie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marian Tutuianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horia Nicea went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute Vasile Costăchescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Tutuianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Gerbovec were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Ilarie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Tănăsocă made a precise shot to the right of Marian Tutuianu. FC BilL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sebastian Tănăsocă charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Tănăsocă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Tănăsocă hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. FC BilL's Marian Tutuianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC BilL from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Tănăsocă could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Marian Tutuianu however easily saved by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, FC BilL's goal looked a bit too open when David Bogrea came free, but Marian Tutuianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC BilL's Marian Tutuianu got control of the ball when Sebastian Tănăsocă tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Gerbovec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Bogrea to maneuver through the defense. Marian Tutuianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Costăchescu in the 74th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Gerbovec's Marian Tutuianu threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Tănăsocă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marian Tutuianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Costăchescu in the 77th minute of play. Marian Tutuianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Costăchescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marian Tutuianu made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Horia Nicea sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Tănăsocă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Marian Tutuianu made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, FC BilL's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Tănăsocă came free, but Marian Tutuianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Ilarie struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Filip Pârlog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BilL. Gerbovec played a much better game than FC BilL and deserved their victory. The FC BilL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
